Homework for GATE Students:
Good day Parents,
*The class had just recently ended experimenting with different subject area's connecting to the use of the Scientific Method. Along with that the class has had many discussions on STRATEGY and how important it is to have a plan of action or a way of figuring things out when we tackle a challenge or a problem that needs to be solved. About two weeks ago I gave the students a Brainteaser which challenged them to find 42 boxes in a simple square-grid. They had fun figuring it out as well as sharing it with family at home. Once again I challenge them to come up with or find 2 or more brainteasers that they will present to their Gate classmates once school is back in session. The brainteasers should have a name and/or picture, simple rules on how it should be answered, and of course (students) should be able to share the answer later to their audience.
**I also would like them to write about 2 challenges that they have had to tackle during their time in quarantine. Indicate what the problem was and how it was solved. Students must be able to share about their experiences.
In addition, if a student is still doing a science fair project, just try your best. If materials aren't available to you at this time, not completing the project is understandable. Just please continue to read up on interesting current events and be safe throughout. Missing all my students and always praying for their safety and well - being.
Love,
Mrs. Aguon

Many thanks to the parents who have donated supplies to our ”Maker Space”. Please continue to read, sign and return GATE documents that are sent home quarterly. We also appreciate the visits to the new GATE classroom located in what was Room K8. Your children have been hard at work this past Quarter creating Christmas designs on tricking and trapping Elves. We hope you have enjoyed the GATE projects that your children have been bringing home to share.
Thank once again for your support and attendance at Parent Teacher Conference !!!
